We are open 9AM to 4PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
What is the cost of admission?​
We are always free to the public.
What types of services does the museum offer?​
The museum offers far more than its 12,000 artifacts, airpark of restored military aircraft, two flight simulators, and extensive library collection. We host the General Claire Lee Chennault Chapter 51 of the Disabled American Veterans, partner with the Library of Congress to conduct oral‑history interviews of veterans, run a Veteran’s Closet that collects and distributes clothing to former service members in need, and provide several post-traumatic peer support groups for veterans, first responders, and their family members. These programs are designed to support and engage our community while preserving and honoring the stories of those who served.
Are tours available?
As a small museum with limited staff, guided tours are offered on first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to guarantee a tour guide is available for your visit, we can arrange that for a small fee. Please contact us at 318-362-5540 to schedule a tour.
Do you take items for donation or loan?
We are currently accepting new items as donations only.
How can I support the museum?
Monetary donations and memberships are the primary source of funding for the museum, so please consider either a one-time donation or an annual membership if you are interested in supporting the museum.
